Reality setting in, Marketplace is full of ghosts, scammers, and bargain hunters who think $10 is outrageous. I’m reworking my strategy: sell fast, donate faster, and stop letting this junk cost me rent in both cash and headspace.

Two weeks down in my 90-day clear-out and the estate sale shortcut turned into a dead end. One no-show company, one pricey quote, and zero “easy buttons” later, I’m realizing research time is over. It’s time to stop daydreaming and start taking action. Here’s what went down and what I learned.
